DISNEY+ THROWBACK EXPERIENCE

Disguised as a nostalgic thrift store, this immersive activation kicked off Disney+’s Throwback campaign, celebrating the extensive Disney+ and Hulu catalog of iconic series and films. Guests entered a ā€œspeakeasyā€-style late-90s and Y2K dreamworld, guided room to room—escape room–style—using a Teen Beat–style zine.

Each of the nine interactive environments brought a different title to life: The Cheetah Girls, Hannah Montana, Freaky Friday, The Princess Diaries, Boy Meets World, One Tree Hill, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, The Golden Girls, and Gilmore Girls. Packed with mall-core aesthetics and fashion deep cuts, the space was styled in partnership with ThredUp and featured both curated vintage looks and original wardrobe and props pulled from the Disney archives.

Contributed to the development of the event’s original branding—logo, color palette, textures, and patterns—which was adapted across Disney’s broader cross-platform campaign. Designed print graphics, from thrift store signage to Easter egg props and large-scale graphics, and supported creative execution across all phases of the build.
